90ways is interested in all that is intellectually curious and critical. Perhaps you are also. If so, we mgiht be a good team. But you should know what you're getting into. The best way to ensure this is to familiarize yourself with the site. If you have not already, poke around and get a sense of the tones and content that intrigue us. We have a number of regular features and themes we enjoy exploring. If you cannot identify them yourself, we'll be happy to tell you.

Once it all makes sense, send a submission or a query to submissions@90ways.com. Attachments are fine, as are pasted in submissions. No intelligent punctuation, please. Be sure to include the name of the house in the subject line (e.g. "re:Essay Submission"). If you're not sure which house your idea might be best suited to, just put "submission" in the subject line and be advised it may take us a little longer to get back to you. Do not take it personally. In general, we do our best to get back to you within a month. If you haven't heard from us, try re-submitting and pouting.

If your work is featured on 90ways we ask only for exclusive rights for one month. For one month from the date of posting we want to be the only place to find your work. Because we're the jealous kind. After that, although we will leave your work in our archives, all rights revert to you. And, indeed, if you go on to place your work elsewhere, let us know so we can make a note of it in the archives. We love when that happens.
